Refund Policy
Effective
The policy
If LadderIDE Pro does not work for you, tell us what went wrong within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the $49.99 in full. Activating your license does not disqualify you. Write to [email protected] with your order number.
We ask what went wrong because we want to fix it — not to judge whether your reason is good enough. There is no appeal to lose here and nothing to argue about. If it did not work, that is the whole case.
Why activation does not disqualify you
LadderIDE Sim is free, but it does not generate Arduino code — that is exactly what Pro adds. So the honest reason to want a refund, "this does not work with my board", is something you can only discover after entering your key and trying it. A policy that refused anyone who had activated would refuse precisely the person with a real claim. Activate it, push a sketch at your hardware, and if it does not work out, ask.
How to ask
Email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase date. Four things, and a couple of sentences covers most of it:
- Your order number — it is on your receipt and on your Lemon Squeezy order page.
- Which board you were trying to use.
- Your LadderIDE version.
- What went wrong.
The last three are what make a refund worth something to us: they are the only way we find out which boards and which failures are costing people the purchase. Often it turns out to be fixable, and if you would rather have it working than have your money back, say so — but that is your call, not a condition.
Expect a reply within 3 business days. Once it is processed, the money is returned by the original payment method; how quickly it lands is up to your bank, typically a few business days.
What happens to your key
A refunded license key is disabled. LadderIDE returns to Sim mode on any machine where it was activated — your projects and files are untouched and still open, but code generation and upload to the board stop working. That is the only thing a refund takes back, and it is why we can afford not to argue about the rest.
Who processes it
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for every sale — the seller named on your receipt — so they issue the refund on our instruction. Their store policy and this page say the same thing. If you have already asked them directly, you do not need to ask us as well.
After 14 days
The window is 14 days from your purchase date. After that a refund is no longer something this policy grants, though consumer law in your country may give you rights that nothing here can reduce. Support does not expire — if LadderIDE is not working for you, write in regardless of the date.
